Quick Beer Cheese Dip is easy for a lot of people to enjoy. Get some soft pretzels, chips, or vegetables ready to dip.
INGREDIENTS
– 1/2 cup beer, such as IPA– 1 1/4 cups whole milk– 1/4 cup unsalted butter– 1/4 cup all-purpose flour– 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard– 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce– 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Heat beer and milk in a small sauce pot over medium-low heat until heated but not boiling.
Step 1
INSTRUCTIONS
Melt butter in a medium sauce saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk in the flour and heat for 2 minutes until slightly toasted. Mix in Dijon mustard and smoked paprika.
Step 2
Whisk continually as you slowly add warm beer. Add the Worcestershire and shredded cheese and whisk regularly until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth. Serve now.
