Avocado toast is creamy, crisp, and delicious. A delicious and easy breakfast, snack, or light meal! Avocados brown, so eat them right away.
– 1 slice of bread (I like thick-sliced whole-grain bread best) – ½ ripe avocado – Pinch of salt – Optional: Any of the extra toppings suggested in this post
Your slice of bread should be toasted until it is golden brown and firm. It is important to remove the pit from your avocado.
Make use of a large spoon in order to remove the flesh. First, place it in a bowl, and then use a fork to mash it up until it reaches the desired level of smoothness.
Blend in a small amount of salt, approximately half a teaspoon, and if desired, add more salt to taste. The toast should be topped with a spread of avocado.
You can eat it as is, or you can top it with any of the extras that are mentioned in this post. If you have flaky sea salt, I highly recommend adding a light sprinkle of it.
